Brown County Fair 2011

So another week of the fair has come and gone! It only comes around once a year and it goes by so fast!!! like always the weather was predictably unpredictable..meaning it was going to be rainy and everyone knew it!!! honestly though the weather turned out to be decent enough, and not as bad as i thought! Monday September 26th started out rainy, but by the grace of god the sun came out in just enough time to start the parade and it turned out to be a wonderful evening :)
Jayden looking back to smile
Kinleigh waving at the parade :)

This was Kinleigh's first year getting to go to the fair and I think she enjoyed it alot! unlike jayden; kinleigh didn't ride any rides...but jayden made up for it...he loved the rides and it was hard to pull him away.
Jayden on his favorite ride of all time the spring ride!

up up and away!

I took the kids to the fair a few days that week, the first night mom and i enjoyed a nice yummy philly cheese steak and jayden devoured a big corn dog! That Tuesday we went and took jacob with us! mom shared a flowering onion with him and katie and jayden and i each had a fry. I didn't go back to the fair until Thursday and stayed an hour because it started to rain :( i was not getting caught in that mess...but we returned to the fair again that Saturday, this time with Ronnie :) it was beyond cold that day but we enjoyed what we could....jayden and kinleigh both got to experience riding their first horse!

all in all it was a good week! i have out grown the fair since being an adult...but i enjoy getting to see my babies enjoy it now! i have gone every single year since i was 13 years old! even if i don't live in georgetown forever it is a tradition i would like to keep going for a long long time!!!!

What A Wonderful World: Luckiest Girl in the World

What A Wonderful World: Luckiest Girl in the World

Luckiest Girl in the World

So yesterday I walked up to Save Alot with mom, katie, and the kids and while we were there shopping a nice lady (who had to be AT least 80) stopped her cart at where I was standing and preceded to tell me how beautiful kinleigh was...(.as all of you know i hear this often and eat up every bit of it, i apologize if this makes me a conceded mother. I know my children are beautiful and honestly don't need to hear it to believe it, but its always nice when i hear it). In all honestly i thought i could have cleaned kinleigh up a little better before we went out (she has had a cold for 3 days and her nose has been running non-stop). Well then jayden came over and the lady looks at him and with the biggest smile say "well aren't you just so handsome" (again gloating i know). Jayden was an even bigger mess then kinleigh was, he has been broke out in poison ivy all week and not to mention he is covered in dirt head to toe because he had been making dirt for dinner in the back yard :). As the lady continues to compliment my kids i am finding any excuse for her to stop, i kept saying they are such a mess right now...and my daughter has a cold and my son is getting over poison ive...blah blah blah. The lady says to me "oh no no thats one thing that makes them beautiful"...and then she began talking about what beautiful big eyes both of them have.
She was such a nice lady, beyond the fact she was praising my kids without knowing me or them she was just a genuinely nice women. It takes me a long time to warm up to just about anyone and for some reason, never knowing this women, i felt if only for a second...already warmed up to her.
We stood there talking just for a few more minutes but she managed to tell me about the few grand kids she has and how a couple were already in their 30's and one was just getting ready to graduate from college. None of them had started families yet, she said all of them have had their noses in work and think of nothing else but that. She said that she tries to convince her grandaughters to give her great grandbabies, but doesn't ever see it happening.
After we had parted ways mom went to the check out aisle and i took the kids outside and waited for her to get done, i thought about my life and the decisions that i have made in my 26years of life....would i change any of the decisions i have made?
At this point in my life i COULD most likely be graduated out of college with probably a bachelors degree (in god knows what? it could have ranged from psychology to journalism) i may have been moved out of georgetown to find better work (which soon i plan to be out of georgetown to start my family). I probably wouldn't be in a relationship and if so it wouldn't be to serious because i would have been to into work myself. So, i would have to say no i do not regret any of the decisions that i have made in my 26years. I am happy with my life, although things are tough from time to time and i would eventually like to have a career...i love being a mom its the best gift in the world..this is how my life is supposed to be...we all go through our own struggles in life to become who we are in the end.
I thought of those ladies grand children....not that i think they are making the wrong decision, because financially they probably are in a better boat then i am, but i think of what they are missing out on...and i consider myself the luckiest girl in the world to have to amazing children who bring smiles to my face every single day and i wouldn't want any of my life any other way

First day of 1st grade

Jayden was so excited to finally be a 1st grader :)

Whats been happening?

So I know another long several months since writing last...i don't know why i manage to stay away for months at a time when i find that keeping this blog relieves so much stress and is something that i much enjoy. It could be that now i have two children to tend to on a daily basis and two is definitely more time consuming then one!

Jayden just started the 1st grade a couple weeks ago, he loves school and was so excited to return! Kinleigh is nine months as of 2 days ago, she is growing so big so fast. She has already been crawling for 3 months now. She stands on her own but hasn't made those first steps just yet. She has her two bottom teeth and is getting more! I am still nursing her. I am happy about this, considering i never even imagined that i would nurse. When she was born i had planned on pumping breast milk for her, i ended up trying to nurse and it was the best thing i ever did!

My family and I (ronnie, jayden, and kinleigh) are going to making a move to Sharonville, Ohio soon. Its away from georgetown but thats what we need to get our family started. I'll be sad to leave my family and friends here but i am excited to start new adventures!

Been so long

It has been way to long sicne i have updated on how life is going...Shame on me for letting things go so long when i have so much to say! Well first off I had my baby girl Kinleigh Marie Nassif was born on November 30th, 2010 @ 9:02am weighing 7Lbs 10oz and 21 inches long! she's absolutely perfect in every way...I went into labor at 3:30am, my water broke while i was in bed sleeping and from there the labor and delivery went pretty fast and smooth...our vehicle had been broke down and we had no way to get to the hospital that was an hour away from where we live...thankfully two of the best friends in the world shari and ben lang took ronnie, my mom, and i to the hospital!! at 3:30 in the MORNING let me remind you! they were great to us and for that i will be for ever thankful to them!!! by the time i got to the hospital at about 5am i was 3cm dialated and then by 7am i was 6cm the doc recommended i get meds at that time or it might be to late for any so i went ahead for it and ironically the anesticiologist was preoccupied by the time i got my epi it was just in time...they didn't have the meds in all the way and i had to start pushing...i pushed for about 50mins and my baby girl was in my arms. Such a bittersweet moment and something i will never forget! Kinleigh was born exactly 2weeks early and just happened to be born the day after my mom and best friend jessica jetters bday! i had felt like i was going to go into labor for about two days and it never happened so i honestly thought that i would make it to my due date and she had other plans lol...

Kinleigh is four months old now!!!Where has the time gone??? after being born she went from being 7lbs 10oz to 7lbs even. She had lost a lot of weight because we were having latching problems (to the boob) and she wasn't eating enough...i ended up using a pump to express my milk so i could continue to give her breast milk and it worked great until my pump broke and i had no way to express milk...i was terrified to try and breast feed but they got so engorged i had to do something. Aftre two weeks of pumping i tried breastfeeding again and she took!! i was so thankful because that usually doesn't happen, but in this case it did and she has been attatched to my boob ever since lol. By Kinleighs first month check up she had gone from 7lbs to 10lbs 2 oz she had gained three pounds in one month!!! it was crazy to me!! now at four months old she weighs 13lbs 8oz and is 26inches long she is in the 95% in height and 45% in weight...she is a tall skinny girl! She looks just like her dad but i think she looks like me more and more everyday...she has a temper and knows how to use it, she is definitely a girl!!!

Jayden loves having Kinleigh around!! he plays the role of a good big brother!!but thats not to say we haven't had our problems...jayden has had some attention issues and has really been acting out in school..my good little boy has gotten rotten and sometimes i don't know what to do about it or how to handle it.

We are still living in Georgetown, Ronnie has a great job out of Sharonville and he has been there since the beginning of February...eventually we will be moving closer to his work but first i'd like jayden to finish his kindergarten year at georgetown since there is only about two months of school left! after he completes that then we can go from there! We got Jayden enrolled into spring soccer again his first game is this saturday and hoping that he enjoys it just as much as he did last year!!

i forgot just how much blogging was of a stress reliever  i am going to have to make sure that i keep up with the updates this time lol...
                      until next time ~ Justine
